The Thesis of Iwama Shinshin Style and Aikikai Style Aikido

 

Iwama Shinshin styke Aikido is O-sensei's, Morihei Uyeshiba sensei's, Aikido itself which he embodied in his last years at Iwama.

He began his martia artic journey to learn many martial arts from his teens to his thirties all over Japan . At last he reached to achievement of the essence of his new martial art at Uyeshiba-juku, Ayabe, Kyoto Pref. at his forties in 1920's. Therefore we can say the history of Iwamna Shinshin style Aikido is near one hundred years old. And then it has been called various names reflecting on times.

 

However in nowadys it is called the following names distiguishing from Aikikai Style Aikido.
